Stoked on Spring

Stoked Mentoring held their annual "Stoked on Spring" event Saturday evening. The benefit hosted a silent and live auction, which offered 125 works of affordable works of art and one-of-a-kind items, as well as ten items auctioned by Christie's. The event was exciting and raised awareness about Stoked, as well as raised some money for the charity.

GlamourGals

Friday evening, Openhouse Gallery was taken over by GlamourGals, an organization that forms bonds between teen girls and elderly women. The event was a fun party for sponsors and volunteers of Glamour Gals. And for one night, Openhouse added a touch of pink to our typical white decor.

You're Invited: Harlequin Celebrates 60

At the end of May, Harlequin will be invading Openhouse Gallery to host a two week long pop-up shop displaying their cover art. With over one hundred original works of art on display, this exhibit includes cover art from 1949 to 2009. Covering the shifting shape of desire and fantasy, as well as the social meaning and context of these images, this event is FREE and open to the public. Enjoy!
This display will be open from May 30th through June 12th.

Monday - Friday: 11AM-6PM
Saturday & Sunday: 12PM - 6PM

Behr Ultra Editor Preview/Product Launch

This week Behr Paints & Home Depot teamed up to throw an event at Openhouse Gallery for those oh-so-spoiled editors. To celebrate the launch of their new line of paints, Behr invited top editors to check out the new product, eat delicious food (catered by Tastings), and even receive manicures and massages. And while we can't show you pictures from the event, take our word for it that everyone was ultra-happy and super pampered that evening. It was truly an event fit for a...behr?

Downtown Little School Fundraiser

The Downtown Little School, which offers early child education for children aged 2-5, held a well attended fundraiser to raise money for their nursery school program. With over 400 silent auction items, a live auction including a vacation for 2, and a Vespa that was raffled off, it's no wonder the Downtown Little School exceeded their fundraising expectations.

Ingenuity Magazine Launch

Thursday evening was a night for ingenious beginnings, with the launch of Ingenuity Magazine being held at Openhouse Gallery. The magazine, founded by Nicole Baker and aimed at young career women, shares tips from experiences in the business world. The gathering was intimate, and Openhouse Gallery is happy to be a supporter of Ingenuity Magazine.

Openhouse is hosting some very exciting private events within the next few weeks. Ingenuity Magazine is throwing their launch party, the Downtown Little School is hosting a fundraiser, and Stoked Mentoring has announced their annual fundrasing benefit, featuring a live silent auction.

While unfortunately these events are not open to the public, we promise to have lots of great pictures and juicy details for you, as always.

Openhouse Gallery & POSHGLAM

Diesel Fragrance Launch - Only the Brave

Thursday evening, Diesel launched their Only the Brave men's fragrance with a pop-up art exhibit. Openhouse was the home to pieces by such artists as Sandra Chi, Bob Partington, David Gensler, Aerosyn-Lex, Magomed Dovjenko, and many more. The artwork has since moved to the Diesel Denim Gallery in New York. The launch was a huge success, with a ton of guests, drinks provided by Absolut, and an incredibly brave fragrance.
